Our service is absolutely free for you; there are no additional charges or hidden fees! Our partner hotels pay us for filling their rooms. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club and Discover.  Different Hotels require different types of payment.

In most cases, your hotel will require a downpayment at time of confirmation. Usually the downpayment ranges from 10 to 20% of your room rent and is charged on your credit card at time of confirmation. After deducting it from your bill, the remainder plus tax is due at check-in/out. (Please note that most hotels do not show your downpayment in their computer. Front desk hotel staff will only see the remaining balance on their computer screens to avoid errors in charging). 

Some hotels don't require a downpayment at all and want you to pay your entire room rent at time of check-in/out. For reservations at those hotels, there will be no charge on your credit card before you arrive at the hotel (however, keep in mind that some hotels “block” a certain amount on your credit card before check-in).

A few hotels require full pre-payment at time of reservation. In that case, you will find two charges on your credit card: a downpayment charge and the remaining balance plus tax typically charged on the same day. This means that your stay will be pre-paid, and you will only pay the hotel for any incidentals, such as room service or telephone - if any - at check out.

Should you find the hotel not to your liking for any reason and decide not to stay at the hotel, HotelKingdom.com ™ will refund your entire downpayment and it is common industry courtesy that the hotel will not charge you either.

Cancellation Policy: In order to afford you the most flexibility in your travel planning there is no cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of booking your reservation. After the 24 hours free cancellation window, there is a one-time $20.00 cancellation fee per room/suite. The remainder of your downpayment/prepaid room rent will be refunded to you. This cancellation policy requires, of course, that you are still outside of the hotel's Late Cancellation Period, which can range typically from 3-14 days prior to arrival (some vacation homes even have Late Cancellation Period of 30 days prior to arrival). Exceptions may apply.  Please check your individual Hotel's "How to Pay" Page.

Late Arrival Guarantee: Your room is always guaranteed for late arrival with your credit card. So don't worry, you can arrive at your confirmed hotel as late as 6:00 a.m. the following morning, and your room, suite or vacation home will still be waiting for you. 

Early Arrival: Hotels typically do their very best to give you access to your accommodations as soon as possible; however, during busy times, housekeeping may not have your room ready until official check-in time. In this case, most hotels offer a lock-up storage room where you can store your luggage. This way, you can explore your new surroundings or enjoy the hotel's amenities pool, fitness room etc.

Please note there are two ways of booking: Real time and on Availability Basis.

Real Time Booking : Whenever you see 3 lightning bolts right next to the hotel on the list of search results, you will be confirmed immediately at time of reservation. You will receive a brief confirmation e-mail back with your preliminary confirmation number. Within 24 hours thereafter, you will receive another, more detailed confirmation letter with the hotel's own original confirmation number, address, phone number and all your travel data.
